Polls 2019: Udit Raj threatens to quit BJP if not given ticket

Miffed at not finding a place in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s first list of candidates for Delhi, North-west Delhi parliamentarian Udit Raj on Tuesday threatened to quit the party if not given a ticket. The BJP is yet to announce the candidate from the seat. Sources said that Udit Raj is constantly trying to get in touch with the BJP organisational general secretary Ramlal but in vain. Reports suggest that the party is considering former mayor Anita Arya for this seat.
