NN Exclusive: Musharraf opens up on Kashmir issue, says 'Pakistan Army can do anything

In an exclusive interview with News Nation, Pakistan's former president Pervez Musharraf shared his view on the mandate of country's general elections in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. Welcoming Imran Khan as the next Pakistan Prime Minister, Musharraf terms it the 'victory of democracy', saying that the cricketer-turned-politician is the 'requirement of the day'. Besides that, Musharrf also stressed on the Indian Pakistan relationship and said, "Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan. Our army wants peace. I had a conversation with former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to maintain the peace and order. You know we have a large and strong fighting force across the land and they can do anything". "You do not allow Pakistani players to enter India. From players to singers, you have prohibited Pakistani people irrespective of their professions," Musharraf went on to claim further.
