Pakistani news channel debate on Monday turned violent when Masroor Ali Siyal, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party leader, attacked Karachi Press Club President Imtiaz Khan Faran in a live show. The assault occurred on the News Line with Aftab Mugheri show. The footage has since gone viral online. The video set Twitterati on fire.
The video shows the duo getting into physical tussle and Siyal getting up from his chair, shoving Faran to the floor. The anchor of the show and studio officials eventually managed to tear the two away from each other. A few minutes later, the Karachi Press Club president came back in the studio and took his seat.
