Former Judge of the Pakistan Supreme Court Rana Bhagwandas on Friday said everyone should adopt Mahatma Gandhi's ideals to deal with terrorism in the world.
"In order to deal with the current wave of terrorism, countries have to ponder over Gandhiji's ideals and also practice them to tackle the issue," Bhagwandas said addressing an international seminar of 'Gandhi Disarmament and Development' organised by nine Gandhian institutes.
The former Judge said that the fast changing culture and scientific developments have become a threat to the world.
"Though these changes are necessary, they are also equally dangerous," he said.
Highlighting Mahatma Gandhi's moral education, he said that it has basic principle of co-existence and the same is being taught in all the religions.
Earlier, Bhagwandas along with former Chief Justice of India A M Ahmadi inaugurated the seminar which will continue till October 6.
Delegates from America, England, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and Nepal are taking part in it.
On the occasion 'Indore Declaration' on World Peace and Development issue will also be released.
