Chinese New Year or in another word the Lunar New Year is being celebrated across the globe. This year the new year begins on Saturday 28,2017.
You may be thinking why does it fall at this time of the year so when a new moon is seen the lunar new year begins.
Gregorian" calendar which is traditionally used in the UK is different from this one as it totally depends on the moon.Every year the Chinese New Year is celebrated on different dates, but it will fall sometime between 21 January and 20 February.
