New Delhi:

As tensions between Iran and American continue to escalate in the aftermath of the killing of Qasem Soleimani, a bounty of USD 80 Million has been announced on US President Donald Trump’s head, say reports.

The announcement was made during the televised funeral procession of the top Iranian military commander Soleimani. It was said that USD 1 would be tabled for every Iranian in the country and the final cash will go to whoever kills the US President, mirror.co.uk reports.

Iran has an approximate population of 80 million and if each Iranian contributes, it translates into USD 80 million, the announcement added.

Moreover, Iranian leader Abolfazl Abutorabi in his address to parliament had threatened to attack the White House, suggest reports.

Iran has already made the announcement to pull out of the nuclear deal or the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that it signed with UNSC permanent members plus Germany.

After US launched a drone attack on Soleimani, Trump had warned Iran that the US has identified 52 possible targets in the country and will hit it harder than ever before if Tehran, which has vowed “severe revenge”, carries out any attack against America to avenge the killing of top military commander Qasem Soleimani.

Soleimani, 62, the head of Iran’s elite al-Quds force and architect of its regional security apparatus, was killed when a US drone fired missiles into a convoy that was leaving the Baghdad International Airport early on Friday. The strike also killed the deputy chief of Iraq’s powerful Hashed al-Shaabi paramilitary force.
