Wedding stunt: Groom arrives not on ‘Ghodi’ or ‘Gaadi’ but Lion

In a lavish wedding in Pakistan, a groom grabbed eyeballs of everyone when he arrived on a Lion instead of a traditional ‘Ghodi’ or ‘Gaadi’.

Shaikh Mohammad from Multan wanted to reach to his bride’s home on a Lion and requested his 'rich' father to arrange one for him.

However, the Lion was in cage but the groom still managed to fetch attention.

The video was uploaded by ARY news and the comments of viewers were mostly critical of the public display of wealth.

If that wasn’t enough, the groom was covered in gold and the wedding had a lavish dinner for 15,000 guests. The bride’s family wasn’t behind in this public display of wealth and gave a hefty dowry worth 5 crore Pakistani Rupees which was put on display at wedding.

Though, the grand wedding didn’t go well with Pakistan's tax department and the family was asked to reply to an informal notice sent to them by the department for spending too much on fanfare.
