An AIADMK Cadre's dhoti caught fire on Wednesday while burning DMDK chief Vijayakanth's effigy in Villuppuram, Tamil Nadu.
The AIADMK workers staged a sit-in outside a hotel where DMDK chief Vijayakanth was staying. They were protesting against his alleged remarks against party supremo and chief minister Jayalalithaa.

Some AIADMK workers burnt an effigy of Vijayakanth during the protest. It was during this when the incident happened.
Later, the protesting workers were taken into custody.
