Following the path of other social messaging sites, the online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing service, Instagram will soon disclose how many people viewed your video. It will be the first time for the social messaging site.
In addition, now the user can also see how many people liked the video and their identity. Like You Tube, the view count will allow the users to know how well their videos are doing with fans and potential customers.
Instagram, a social messaging app which enables its users to take pictures and videos and share them either publicly or privately as well as through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.
The service was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for approximately USD 1 billion in cash and stock. In 2013, Instagram grew by 23 per cent, while Facebook, as the parent company, grew by only three percent.
