A new born baby girl has made world record of being the heaviest baby girl in the world. A woman in Karnataka gave birth to baby girl on May 23 and the girl weighed 6.8 kg at the time of birth. The delivery took place by C-section to Nandini, the 19-year-old mother.
Baby’s large size has surprised both the mother and medical staff. Though parents genes and a lot of other factors also matter when it comes to baby’s being born overweight. Sometimes high sugar levels may also cause new born being overweight.
The baby has not been named yet making a new world record of being the heaviest girl born. The heaviest baby girl in the world recorded by Guinness was giantess Anna Haining Bates, who weighed around 18 lbs or 8.2 kg at birth, in 1846.
People spend their lives in making records but some people just do it with their birth only like this baby girl did! Both the mother and baby are now healthy and doctors call it a surprising baby birth.
