The Maharashtra B.Ed CET Result 2016 (MH CET B.Ed) has been announced and can be checked now in the official website of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Maharashtra. The result for Maharashtra B.Ed CET 2016 entrance exam can be viewed at bed.mhpravesh.in.
Maharashtra B.Ed CET examination 2016 was conducted as an online test on June 12 at various allotted online test centres. DHE Pune rendered the responsibility to conduct MH B.Ed. CET 2016 to State CET Cell. MH-B.Ed. CET 2016 has been conducted to shortlist meritorious candidates for admission to the two-year full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course offered at government, government-aided, university managed colleges/institutes and unaided institutes.
The B.Ed. CET 2016 paper consisted of 100 questions with maximum marks 100. As there is no negative marking applicable in the test, the cut-off/merit score is expected to be high. Besides, the B.Ed CET applies to admissions in around 560 B.Ed. colleges of Maharashtra as the admissions would be done through centralized admission process (CAP).
B.Ed. program which was earlier a one-year course was made a two-year program which delayed the admission process by around three months last year. This time, DHE Pune made it clear that the course will be of two-year duration, to avoid any controversy later on.
Thousands of candidates had taken the common entrance test for Maharashtra B.Ed CET examinations 2016 and the result was earlier scheduled to be announced on June 27, but later the date was changed to June 30 as announced by an official notification put up online by DHE. MH B.Ed CET result will be available at the official web portal of DHE Pune, www.dhepune.gov.in.
Earlier a dedicated portal for B.Ed admissions (bed.mhpravesh.in) was launched by DHE. However, the portal is not having any information about the B.Ed CET. Candidates will be able to access their result at DHE Pune official website as the result will also be made available at bed.mhpravesh.in.
