1. Google to set up new cloud region in India by 2017
New Delhi : Google announced on Friday that it plans to open a new Google Cloud Region in Mumbai. It will be expected to be live in 2017 and will be aimed at providing Google Cloud Platform services to Indian developers and enterprise customers.
Google cloud has more than one billion end users it also gains significant traction in India. Companies gaining from Google Cloud Platform include Snap Inc (formerly SnapChat), Niantic Labs (Pokemon Go), Telus International, and Evernote.

2. HCL, IBM partnership for automations, development and operations
New Delhi : HCL and IBM announced that both the companies have entered a 15-year partnership for automation and development and operations. This was written in company's blog post. The announcement was made after market hours on Thursday.
"This partnership will enable us to focus our technical teams on native cloud and cognitive solutions, as well as industry-specific opportunities," the companies said in a blog post.

3.Indian stock markets record minor gains amid weak global cues
New Delhi : The BSE Sensex ended with a gain of 38 points at 27,866. The BSE Sensex opened at 27,808 touched an intra-day high of 27,955 and low of 27,716. The NSE Nifty closed with a gain of 20 points at 8,611. The NSE Nifty opened at 8,582 hitting a high of 8,637 and low of 8,555.
Investors seemed to be in a cautious mood a day after India conducted “surgical strikes” on terror launch pads across the LoC.
