The wait of candidates who appeared for the State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officers (PO) examination 2016 was finally over as the results were announced on Friday. The letters for successful candidates and marks obtained by the candidates will shortly be uploaded by the SBI on its official website. Students can logon to sbi.co.in to check their SBI PO Exam 2016 final results.
Below are the steps to check your SBI PO Exam final 2016 results:
1. Logon to the official website of the bank
2. Click on the link ‘Careers’
3. Look for latest announcements section
4. Click on the link ‘Final Result’
5. The results will be displayed on your computer screens

The main examination (Phase 2) was conducted on July 31. Students who cleared the main examination appeared for group discussion and interview (Phase 3), which started from September 1, 2016.
The final selection was made on the basis of marks secured in the main examination (objective and descriptive), and group discussion and interview. The marks obtained in preliminary exam have not been considered.
Out ofthe total 2,200 vacancies, 1,028 seats were allotted to general category candidates, 590 for Other Backward Class (OBC), 351 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 231 for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.
