Dream girl of Bollywood Hema Malini has turned 67 today. The veteran actress has ruled millions of hearts in her time and her magic still continues to spread in the film industry. Born on October 16, 1948 at Ammankudi (Orathanadu), Tamil Nadu she acted in numerous Hindi film, in which mostly of them were with husband Dharmendra.
She made acting début from Tamil film "Ithu Sathiyam as a dancer/supporting actress. She is also politically active as a Member of Parliament from Mathura constituency.

Sapno Ka Saudagar
Sapno Ka Saudagar: Hema made her acting debut from this film. Released in 1968, Sapno Ka Saudagar is known for Hema's brilliant on-screen chemistry with Dharmendra. The film proved to be a hit and kick-started Hema's career on a great note. The Mahesh Kaul directed movie also featured Raj Kapoor, Tanuja, David and Nadira.
Johny Mera Naam
Johny Mera Naam: Released in 1970, the classical blockbuster hit 'Johny Mera Naam' was the highest grossing Bollywood film of 1970. Hema played the role of Rekha in the crime thriller which also starred Dev Anand and Pran. It was directed by Vijay Anand.
Sholay: Who can forget the jolly character of 'Basanti' from the iconic fim Sholay. The 1975 multi-starrer film gave Hema a different identity all together. The classic Ramesh Sippy directorial is known till date for its songs, dialogues, and stunt scenes which also made it the greatest film of the Indian cinema.
Satte pe Satta
Satte pe Satta: Bollywood Adapted version of 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers', Satte pe Satta featured stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Amjad Khan,Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Kanwaljit Singh and Mac Mohan alongside Hema. The 1982 action comedy film is widely known for its popular melody 'Dilbar Mere' which is still fresh in audience's mind.
Baghban: After taking a long break from the films, Hema made her comback from BR Chopra's family drama film ' Baghban' which proved to a milestone in Hema's film career. Her chemistry with Amitabh Bachchan was widely appreciated. The 2003 drama became a blockbuster and earned Hema nomination for Filmfare Best Actress Award.
