IG Varanasi Zone office on Wednesday recieved a shocking application by a 12-year-old girl, in which the minor had asked permission for euthanasia for herself.
Anushka Pandey, a 12-year-old girl from Chandauli district accused her maternal uncle of selling her mother and lodging false dowry harrassment case against her father.
She said her father Om Prakash Pandey of Barthara Khurd village in Chandauli district married her mother Gudia 13 years ago.
The girl reached the IG Office on Wednesday morning alone, with an application that also contained details of the incidents that beset her and her younger sister and brother.
IG Varanasi Zone SK Bhagat ordered SP Chandauli Deepika Tiwari to investigate the matter. She told IG Bhagat that either justice should be done to her or she should be allowed to end her life.
She also accused the local Chandauli police station of ignoring her repeated requests of filling complaint agaisnt her ‘Mama’.
