New Delhi:
Speaking for the first time after his win in 2013 Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday appealed to all honest political leaders across India to join him, and be a part of a new revolution.
"Why don't Congress and BJP join hands? Both have the same ideology, both are neck deep in corruption," Kejriwal said.
Speaking to reporters, Kejriwal's aide Kumar Vishwas also accused Delhi police for working under Congress government and filing an FIR against Dharmendra Koli for no reason.
"Dharmendra Koli is the younger brother of Satish Koli. He has won with great majority. Delhi police who didn’t file an FIR for Satish Koli’s defeat. We request him to accept the defeat. Why will a person who is amongst so many people get down from his vehicle, enter their house, do something like that and come back to his vehicle," he added.
Talking about Prashant Bhushan, he said that Bhushan expressed his personal opinion. "We haven’t discussed about it in the party’s meeting," he added.
Vishwas also took a dig at Arun Jaitley, and said, "He should know that drawing room politics and Rajya Sabha politics spread anarchy and not street politics. If he is so concerned about anarchy spreading then he should fight atleast one election in Delhi and come in Lok Sabha."
