BJP's General Secretary Amit Shah has been in news recently for all the wrong reasons! On Monday, while speaking to News Nation at length, he talked about several topics ranging from Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal to Gujarat riots.

How should we see your relationship?
He is BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and I am party General Secretary that is only the relationship between us.
You both started working together, is it 'Ram-Lakman jodi'?
I started in late 80’s, Modi ji has been working since before me.
You have been considered as a poll manager by many. Do you agree?
I am a hard worker and will continue to do so.
In Gujarat, it is said that you have been involved in factionalism and dividing seats according to your candidates?
I choose the best candidate for the seat.
In Uttar Pradesh, you have been sent here as on a dedicated mandate? Are you trying to establish ‘Modi wave’?
I agree Modi wave is there in UP. One reason is anti-incumbency against the ruling state government. Secondly, social media has led to an awareness campaign but this is not a new idea. We have done it properly that is it.
Are you following caste-based politics in UP?
We are trying to cater to the masses not one section, group or religion- the poll outcome will tell all.
Are Uma Bharti and Kalyan Singh being promoted to cater to the interest of minorities?
Both the leaders are veteran and have been important members of our party.
Is there a generation gap in the party?
No, there is no appeasement, touching feet of elders is just out of respect.
Arvind Kejriwal is criticising Narendra Modi for contesting from two seats. How do you see that?
It is just our party’s strategy nothing else.
Is Arvind Kejriwal a challenge for Narendra Modi?
Every person has the right to have their opinions and form a party to get electoral votes. Whare is the challenge here?
Is BJP responsible for Muzaffarnagar riots?
No, we are not, we were nowhere in the scene, how are we responsible?
Should Narendra Modi apologise for Gujarat riots?
When the constitution has let him free, why should he apologise.
