Bharatpur:

The Gujjar community's agitation demanding five percent reservation in government jobs continues in Rajasthan's Dausa district.

The protesters had earlier threatened to expand the demonstration across the state alleging that the state government has failed to offer any concrete proposal to meet their demands.

The agitators, who started their protest on May 21, had also blocked railway tracks in Bharatpur district as part of their protest, affecting rail traffic and causing inconvenience to passengers.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje reviewed the situation arising out of Gujjar stir on Monday.

As per reports, the state government has proposed a fresh round of talks with the Gujjar leaders.
