All those who have been praising the Google boy who got an opportunity to work with the tech giant at Rs 1.20 crore now have a successor in terms of salary.

Now, Pune boy Abishek Pant, a final-year computer science student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, has bagged an offer of Rs 2-crore annual package at Google Inc.

His package will also include a stock option.

His credentials

The 22-year-old finished his three-month internship at Google California and crossed several interviews to bag the offer.

Born and brought up in US, boy’s family shifted to Pune in 2006 where he studied in CBSE affiliated Delhi Public School and became the city topper. Now, he will head back to US to fulfil his dream.

According to Pant, "The journey from Pune to Kharagpur and Kharagpur to Google Mount View in California has been quite exciting. I had a great experience working there as an intern. A job offer is the icing on the cake."

Pant will now join the company in September next year.

Few days back, a final year student of Delhi Technical University, Chetan Kakkar, has received an offer of Rs 1.20 crores (approx.) from the tech giant company Google.
