New Delhi:
Luxury car giant Mercedes-Benz today launched AMG GT S in India in the performance car segment with a price priced at Rs 2.4 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
The car, which sports a 4-litre bi-turbo engine, is the company’s 14th new product introduction of the year in the country.
The step is seen as the first development in its announcement to launch 15 new products in 2015 in India.

“The launch of the AMG GT S is the finest example of our top-of-pyramid approach for the Indian market as we are presenting the most acclaimed product from our global portfolio,” Mercedes-Benz India MD and CEO Roland Folger told reporters here.
With the AMG GT S, the company has yet “another winning product” for India, he claimed.
Other premium features of the car include adaptive brake lights, composite braking system, automatic child seat recognition and eight airbags.
Mercedes-Benz currently sells ten AMG products in the country.
