HTC to unveil 'U' series smartphones; check specifications and features

HTC is set to unveil the HTC U smartphones on Thursday at 13:30 IST. The Taiwanese company will possibly introduce the HTC U Ultra (Ocean Note) and HTC U Play (Ocean Smart) at the event. 

According to rumours, HTC U Play will feature 6-inch QHD screen with dual displays, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM, and offering 64GB of internal storage option. 

It is said to be fuelled with a 4,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is likely to sport 16MP rear and front camera, Contradictory to earlier reports, HTC U Ultra will not sport dual-camera setup.

There are reports about HTC One X10 to be launched in the events. HTC One X10 is the successor of One X9 and will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display (1080 x 1920 pixels).

Reports suggest One X10 will run an octa-core MT6755V/C processor clocked at 1.9GHz with Mali T860 graphics. The device will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
