Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the Maharashtra Board SSC Result 2019 on 8 June, 2019. Students can access their results by visiting the official website of the Maharashtra Board i.e. mahresult.nic.in. This year, the SSC Results saw a sharp dip which is why, on Monday, students and their parents queued up outside the Mumbai divisional board office in Vashi to apply for re-evaluation.
On its first day, the Mumbai division which covers the city, Thane, Palghar and Raigad, had received 620 applications for a photocopy of answer sheets and 133 for verification of marks. Students who wish to apply for re-evaluation or photocopies of their answer sheets through an online process, https://result.sscboardmumbai.in or through the offline process by going to the office of the divisional board. The last date to apply for re-evaluation and photocopies of answer sheets is June 29.
Shravani Dalvi, a student told the leading daily, ''I have an aggregate score of 89%, but my scores in Marathi and social sciences are low. I was hoping to score more than 90% to get into a reputable city college, but will have difficulty getting a seat with this score.'' This year, the Mumbai divisional board has six kiosks to help students. The success rate dropped over 10% in the state.
