Television actress Shilpa Shinde has emergest as one of the most controversial contestants on Bigg Boss 11. And while her recent behaviour towards Vikas Gupta invited a severe backlash, Shilpa's ex-beau Romit Raj has lauded her.
In his recent interview, Romit not just cited Shipla as a fantastic actor but also stated that she is a smart person won't who 'would never say anything wrong to anyone for no reason'.
Interestingly, Romit's statement came after his past relationship with the actress got into the limelight post Shilpa and Vikas' nasty fight on the reality show.
Reportedly, Romit and Shilpa were set to marry each other a couple of years back, but the wedding was called off at the last moment.
And with Shilpa being the new controversy queen on BB11, her love life too created a buzz.
However, Romit has clearly stated that he doesn't want to get involved in any such controversy and refused to divulge in any details about his split with the Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actress.
But he did came up with a special message for Shilpa.
During his recent interview with Tellychakkar, Romit wished her luck for her journey ahead on Bigg Boss 11 and assured her that he will never disrespect her irrespective of the situation.
"All the best. It is great that you have reached so far and you are doing well for yourself. All the controversial comments you passed in the press has helped you get into Bigg Boss because I don’t see another reason why you would say all that you said. Also, I do not want to say anything more as I do not want to publicly disrespect you. Whatever the situation was, it happened between us, your family, my family, you and me… We all know the truth. It has been eight years, I have not said anything and I don’t want to say anything. It takes two minutes to say something bad and disregard someone. If I have kept mum about this from the past eight years does not mean I cannot say or I am not sensitive enough to feel it. We work in the same industry I feel we can work hard and live life peacefully," Romit was quoted as saying.
On the other hand, Shilpa's fight with Vikas Gupta doesn't seem to subside. Both the celebs continue to grill each other time and again makig it one of the most interesting elements of BB11.
We wonder if these controversies will help Vikas and Shilpa is secure a place in the BB house.
