New Delhi :

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan completes twenty years in Bollywood on August 15. She debuts in Bollywood with the film ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ which was released in 1997. The flick also featured Bobby Deol in the lead role.

The 43-year old actress refused several film and modelling offers before signing her first film. Talking to a leading daily she then said, "A professor asked me to do a photoshoot for her and I agreed. She was a photojournalist. Then, all through my 12th, I refused offers. I never really got my portfolio done’’.

She after completing HSC, she had a three month off, in which she decided to do modelling. She said that she caught media attention after that and the industry took her well and everybody knows what happened after that.

Eventually, she kept doing films one after another and her blue eyes left everyone star struck.

Aishwarya got married to Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. The couple had done few films together including Guru, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Na Kaho and Dhoom 2.

Her last appearance was in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which also features Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
