Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon's upcoming movie 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' has been postponed to release in August now. Interestingly, the movie was earlier supposed to hit the screens on July 21, however, the makers chose to shift the release date to August 18.
The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the movie. Later Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news with the fans and wrote, "Junglee Pictures and BR Studios' #BareillyKiBarfi to release on 18 Aug 2017... Helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is written by the director's husband Nitesh Tiwari and is shot in the locales of Bareilly.
Notably, this romantic comedy is Kriti Sanon's first collaboration with Ayushmann Khurrana and the diva is quite excited about the movie and her character.
"It's a very tomboyish character. She is a girl living in Bareilly but doing things on her own terms. She is someone who is quite bratty and who questions the basic norms," Kriti was quoted as saying.
Currently, Kriti Sanon is busy promoting her recnet release 'Raabta' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. A Dinesh Vijan directorial, the movie was release on June 9.
