Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmavati is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The upcoming movie stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the respective roles of Queen Padmavati, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Allauddin Khilji.
The controversies over the film don't seem to fade away as a group of protesters destroyed the rangoli poster of Padmavati in a mall in Surat. It took 48 hours to prepare the rangoli as claimed by the artist Karan K.
Karan took to Twitter to express his anger and accused the crowd of 100 people of ruining his hard work. He even tagged the lead actor Ranveer Singh in the post.

The period drama has often managed to stay in limelight for not-so-good news. Karni Sena members burned the posters of the film in Jaipur as a mark of protest last month.
The Rajput Karni Sena members had also vandalized the sets of the movie in Jaipur. It was also alleged that they assaulted the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The Magnum opus is slated to hit the silver screens on December 1. Fans have been drooling over the look of Deepika Padukone ever since the first look was released by the makers.
