Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has been embroiled in controversies for quite some time now. The upcoming film which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor has been facing a lot of roadblocks in its release.
If the constant threats from Karni Sena members and massive protests in some states were not enough, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) sent the film back to the makers citing technical issues.
It seems Padmavati is not the only film which is facing issues as Muzaffarnagar- The Burning Love and Galti Sirf Tumhari too have run into controversy. Despite being cleared by the Censor Board, the film has not been released in Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar.
The film's director Harish Kumar has said, ''It would be difficult for the film-makers to make movies in this type of environment. He added,''This is a very sensitive matter and the government must act upon it to ensure that the film-makers freedom is not curbed.
Though Bollywood has come in support of Padmavati, the two small budget films are yet to receive any support from the tinsel town.
We wonder if the controversies regarding the three films will die down or not.
