Priyanka Chopra, who has always been her daddy's little girl, has shared an emotional post for her father Ashok Chopra on his birth anniversary stating how badly she misses her 'hero'.
PeeCee was quite close to her father, whom she lost in June 2013 after loosing a battle with cancer. While it was a big jolt for the actress, she is often seen remembering her father in good times and bad.
And on her father's birth anniversary on Wednesday, Priyanka shared a picture of a chocolate cake in order to celebrate her daddy's birthday. She wrote, "Love you guys mostest. #happybirthdaydaddy @madhuchopra @siddharthchopra89 #LtColAshokChopra #familyfirst".
The 'Barfi' actress also shared an old picture of her parents and brother on Instagram and captioned the image as, "Love you guys mostest. #happybirthdaydaddy @madhuchopra @siddharthchopra89 #LtColAshokChopra #familyfirst"
Interestingly, this isn't the first time PeeCee has expressed her love for her family publicly. The actress has been a homely girl and doesn't leave a chance to spend some quality time with her family. In fact, she had even flown down to Mumbai in July to celebrate her birthday with mommy Madhu and brother Siddharth.
On the career front, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with her Hollywood project and will soon begin shooting for the third season of her American series 'Quantico' where in she plays the role of CIA officer Alex Parrish.
