The 'Dilwale' actor is even extremely happy after attending the event, organised by the NGO Paani Foundation, in Pune on Sunday which was supposed to be attended by Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao.
Though, unfortunately, Aamir's illness forced him to give a miss to the show, he made his presence count through a Skype chat.
Being excited Shah Rukh took the matter to Twitter and wrote, "Thx Aamir & Kiran for giving me the honour to stand in for u. Devendra Fadnavis, ur concern for farmers is touching."
While Shah Rukh is all praise being a part of the event Aamir expressed his emotions and sadness over not being a part of the event.
During his skype chat he said, "It’s a happy day but we are very sad… because after working so hard for a year, when the time came for us to celebrate with you, we got this illness. And the disease we are suffering from is one which spreads rapidly. It’s called H1N1 or swine flu in common usage." Apart from the 'PK' actor, Kiran has also been seen in the video who was trying to appear happy in the video.
The two Khans of Bollywood have previously set a good example of their friendship and SRK has proved it yet another time when Aamir is really in need. In the past both the actors have been seen attending various events together and also share a nice, cordial relation with each other.
On the work front, while Aamir is busy shooting his upcoming flicks 'Secret Superstar', 'Thugs of Hindostan' and others, Shah Rukh will be next seen romancing Priyanka Chopra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gustakhiyan.
