New Delhi :

Fimmaker Karan Johar, whose nepotism controversy was just on the verge of extinction, he is surrounded by another headline which is this time ignited by actress and talk show host Simi Garewal.

Simi, who just hosted Indian Film Festival of Melbourne which was attended by many Bollywood celebs including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Raveena Tandon, Karan Johar, Shoojit Sircar, Rajkummar Rao, Malaika Arora and many more.

During the event, Karan Johar received ‘Leadership in Cinema Award’ and was also applauded by the event’s director Mitu Bhowmick, "We are extremely honoured and glad to have Karan (Johar) be part of our festival this year. He is one of the most reputed filmmakers in India and is such a loved personality’’.

He further aaded, ‘’We here in Melbourne and people of the city are looking forward for his masterclass which he will be delivering as part of the festival this year’’.

But the filmmaker, who in past had hosted several award shows, might have generated some level of insecurity in Simi.

She took Twitter handle to indicate Karan’s hunger to host more and more award shows and wrote, "After I finished hosting IFFM Awards @karanjohar told Festival Director 'Next year I want to host the awards'! Another takeover?!"

We can’t speculate the exact reason behind her tweet, but it was the talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’, hosted by Karan Johar which took over and become most talked show when Simi’s talk show was on top
