Ayushmann Khurrana reportedly is in legal trouble after a case has been filed against him for stealing a story idea for his next movie, Bala. According to a report on Navbharat Times, the star of critically acclaimed movies like Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho along with producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik have been accused of chipping a story idea for their next movie, Bala. The movie where Khurrana will play a man dealing with premature balding is in knee-depth trouble because reports have it that a case has been filed in the Bombay High Court by Kamal Kant Chandra who alleges that the story of Bala is plucked from his creative project Wig.
Kamal Kant claims that he had shared the story of a balding man with Ayushmann through WhatsApp. Ayushmann, who, according to his report liked the idea asked Kant for a meeting which never culminated to a project. He further claims that ever since then, Ayushmann has stopped responding to Kamal Kant’s messages until the announcement of the movie.
Replying to the accusations, Director Amar Kaushik has dismissed all the claims made by Kant, “I have no idea about this, we have been scripting the story since the past four-five months. There is a possibility that the characters could be same. I don’t know his script, nor have I met him. I have been writing this story since day one and it could be a tale about any balding man. And as far as the legal case is concerned, the producers will take care of it’’ he reports.
The movie Bala reportedly is about a premature balding man to be played by Ayushmann Khurrana alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
