Ranbir Kapoor turned a year older today and ringed in his birthday along with his family and close friends. Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Anurag Basu and more were snapped by the paparazzi outside RK's house.

Recently, it was also reported that Alia and Ranbir all set to surprise fans with the news of their engagement at the birthday celebrations. ''It’s not just Ranbir’s birthday but also a second birth for his dad Rishi Kapoor,'' a source has been quoted saying by an entertainment portal. ''Ranbir and Alia decided to combine the two birthdays, Ranbir’s and the new birth of his Dad into one celebration,'' the source added.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen space in Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra. The fantasy drama also stars Amitabh Bachchan and is slated to hit cinema halls in August 2019.
When asked about the experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia had told in an interview, "With Ranbir, it is a completely different experience because I have always admired him. He is my favourite actor since he made his debut. He will always remain my favourite because he is so honest and effortless."
Apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir will also be seen alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in the movie Shamshera which has been directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra.
