Pop Star Katy Perry arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday for her performance at the music festival on November 16. But before that, Katy attended an event with Jacqueline Fernandez in the city. Jacqueline shared a picture with Katy on Instagram and captioned it saying, ''With the diva herself! @katyperry Are you guys ready for Nov 16th #oneplusmusicfestival.''
The actor also posted a video as Instagram story where Katy says that she is impressed with Jacqueline and will go home and watch Kick.
Apart from Jacqueline, Katy will be meeting several other Bollywood celebrities too during her trip. Karan Johar will reportedly be hosting a cocktail and dinner for the singer. Who’s who of Bollywood is expected to attend the do and party the night away with Katy. This is not Katy’s first visit to the country.
The Firework hitmaker performed at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League in 2012 in Chennai. "I've always wanted to come to Mumbai. I went to a couple of places seven years ago, did a cricket match, had some fun in Rajasthan at one point in my life. But I've always looked at Mumbai as a destination I really want to be at.'', she said.
"I have heard it's the most fun and it's where arts, culture and entertainment (come together), and Bollywood. I'm excited to indulge in all things Indian," Perry added. At the festival, international pop star Dua Lipa will also be performing and Perry.
Jacqueline, meanwhile, saw the release of her first Netflix film, Drive, which also starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Vikramjit Virk and Sapna Pabbi.
