Television actress Deepika Singh, who was seen in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', has got all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days as the diva has delivered a baby boy on Saturday night.

Television actress Deepika Singh has got all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days as the diva has delivered a baby boy on Saturday night. The news was confirmed by Deepika husband Rohit Raj Goyal who stated that both mother and baby are doing fine. He also averred that he is running short of words to express his happiness over the arrival of their little bundle of joy.

"Both mother and baby are doing fine. We are thrilled and cannot express our happiness. Deepika has been asked to rest for now and I think she needs it the most as she been so strong throughout," Rohit said in a statement.

Interestingly, the couple had just celebrated their their wedding anniversary on May 2 and Deepika had shared an adorable picture with her hubby from her maternity photoshoot on Instagram.

Singh wrote, "You are the wings to my Dreams. Happy Anniversary Nonu @rohitraj_goyal #madinlove #forever #love #blessingofgod also a Big thank you to all my Fans & well wishers for showering love & blessings on us. We really need them during this phase of my life. #pregnancy #pregnacyphotography #bebebabe."


Deepika had rose to fame with her debut show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' on Star Plus where she played the female lead Sandhya. Deepika had married the show's director Rohit Raj Goyal in 2017 and this is the couple's first child.

The actress chose to take a break from acting after 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' went off air in September 2016.
