Kapil Sharma has rubbished the reports of any tiff with cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu and said that their is no truth to the reports. He also clarified that Sidhu is very much a part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' as he considers him his lucky mascot.
Kapil's reaction came after it was reported that things are not well between him and Sidhu and that Navjot has been replaced by Archana Puran Singh on TKSS.
Clearing the air, Kapil told Pinkvilla, "There is no truth to this news. This (someone filling Sidhu's seat for a few episodes) has happened before. For example, when we shot for Sairat episode, Sidhu Sir was not there, even when Jackie Chan came, we called Raveenaji for the episode. I read this news but the truth is that I haven't actually spoken to Sidhu Sir. The news is absolutely false."
Sharma also averred that he can never think of replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu on his show.
"About replacing Sidhuji, I can never ever think about this. Whenever I plan to shoot, I always plan it with Sidhuji because I feel he is lucky for me," Kapil added.
Interestingly, this is not the first time 'The Kapil Sharma Show' has been mired with controversies.
Earlier, the show got into the limelight after Kapil and Sunil Grover got into a nasty fight during a flight. It was reported that Kapil had allegedly assualted Grover after which the latter had walked out of TKSS.
It was also reported that Sunil's exit had an adverse effect on the TRPs of TKSS which left Kapil quite distressed.
Looks like Kapil Sharma has become controversy's new child these days.
