New Delhi :

‘The Kapil Sharam Show’ has been facing rough patches since the last few months. After the Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover spat, nothing is going right for the show and has faced huge drop in viewership.

Recently, the show was supposed to feature BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, but the shooting was cancelled on the last minute.

The reason for the cancellation of shooting was the strike of Federation of Western India Cine Employees.

Manoj Tiwari spoke to a leading daily, “I was here for a day to shoot for a Bhojpuri episode on Kapil’s show. But I got a call from him saying the shooting has been cancelled’’.

Junior artists, spot boys, technicians, cameramen, art directors, photographers, make-up artists are on indefinite strike.

A source from the channel spoke on the cancellation, “The shoot was scheduled for either a Wednesday or a Thursday last week but because of the strike, we cancelled it. There is no information on when and if at all the episode will be shot’’.

Shooting of Amitabh Bachchan show ‘Kaun Banga Crorepati’s special show which was to feature comedian kapil Sharma was also cancelled because of the same reason.

Earlier this month, shooting with ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ stars Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma who were scheduled to come on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was also cancelled but the reason behind at that time was Kapil’s health.

It will be interesting to see what next the show is going to face in the coming days.
