Kasautii Zindagi Kay will mark the entry of Aamna Sharif as the new Komolika today. Although the first episode will see her in the hospital bed, who has shortly undergone a plastic surgery without indulging in much drama already, the Balaji telefilms actress has started shoot for the series and hours before the episode's broadcast, has revealed her look.
The pictures are currently surfacing on the internet and we can't get enough of our new Komo Dressed much like Hina Khan with boho silver jewellery and monotone skirt and a crop top, Aamna looks all set to wreak havoc in Anurag and Prerna's life.
In the pictures, Aamna Sharif can be seen sporting a blue crop top with ruffled off-shoulder sleeves, which she teamed up with a beautiful lehenga. Aamna accessorised her look with lots of jewellery like silver waist chain, gold bangles and a choker necklace. She concluded her look with subtle makeup while she left her hair open.
About her entry in the show, producer Ekta Kapoor told a website (via), "I am very happy that one of my favourite actresses is back with us."
Aamna expressing her excitement for participation in the daily soap revealed that the role will challenge her the most as an actor. "The reason for the break was the need to reinvent my personal life. It would have been easy to stay in my comfort zone and come back with a love story, but that wouldn’t have satiated me as an actor. It’s always a different kind of rush to surprise your audience. So, when I was offered the role of Komolika, I instinctively knew that this is what will challenge me the most as an actor.” sad the Balaji actress of the early 2000s.

Earlier names like Gauhar Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Karishma Tanna were in the run to replace Hina as Komolika.
