IAF Airmen Recruitment notification has been released for Airmen posts in Group X and Group Y Trade. All interested and eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed format. It is to note that Unmarried Male (Indian/Nepalese) candidates can apply for Airmen Group X except Education Trade Instructor Trade and Airmen Group Y except Ground Training Instructor, Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Security), Indian Air Force (Police) and Musician Trades.
It is to note that the online application for IAF Airmen posts will start from January 2, 2020 on the official website, i.e. airmenselection.cdac.in. The last date to submit the application form is January 20, 2020.
In order to apply for the IAF Airmen Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade) Post, candidates need to have passed class 12 examination with English, Physics and Mathematics subjects with minimum 50 percent marks in total and 50 percent marks in English. Candidates with three years Diploma in Engineering course can also apply.
To apply for the IAF Airmen Group Y (Except GTI, Automobile Technician, IAF(S), IAF (P) and Musician), candidates need to have passed class 12 examination with 50 percent marks in total and 50 percent marks in English. For the Group Y Medical Assistant Trade only, candidates need to have passed class 12 examination with English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics as the main subjects with a minimum 50 percent in total and 50 percent marks in English.
Candidates should be born between January 17, 2000 and December 30, 2003 (Both days inclusive). The upper age limit for the above-mentioned posts is 21 years. Apart from this, the IAF Airmen Selection Process include Online Test, Phase 2 Test, Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test 1 & 2 and medical test.
