Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday congratulated all successful students who have passed in the high school and intermediate board examinations and announced that top ten students in the merit list will be felicitated by the state government.
The chief minister has given credit to the Centre-sponsored scheme-“Beti Bachao –Beti Padhao”.
The state government had already declared to bestow Rs 10,000 cash reward to each girls who passed class 10th examination. The announcement was made by deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma.

The announcement of reward came on Yogi’s 45th birthday.
The UP Board Class 10 and 12 Results 2017 came as a surprise as the toppers of class 10 and 12 exam hails from the same district. Tejaswi Devi topped class 10 while Priyanshi Tewari topped class 12 exam from Fatehpur district.
Tejaswi Devi, scored 95.83 percent while Priyanshi Tiwari of Saraswati Bal Mandir Inter College has topped Class 12 board exams 96.20 per cent.
Earlier, the state government had also announced to help poor Muslim families in organising weddings of their daughters.
The minority affairs minister Mohsin Raza had informed that the chief minister has given his consent to hold a mass wedding of poor families of Muslilm community.
