RSS is assuming to be the Supreme Court (SC) in the Ram Janmabhumi- Babri Masjid controversy, says AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi.
“This is a delicate matter and RSS is playing with fire on this issue,” said the three-time Member of Parliament from Hyderabad.
Expressing serious concern over the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement he said, “Obnoxious statement made by RSS Chief, it clearly gives a message that the RSS is assuming to be SC.”
“I hope SC takes note of this devious design, being laid out by Sangh Parivar,” said the Sansad Ratna Award winner MP.
Earlier on Friday, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday made a strong pitch for building the Ram temple and said, "We will construct it. It is not a populist declaration but a matter of our faith. It will not change.”
He said the temple would be constructed in the same grandeur as it existed before, using the "same stones" under the guidance of those who were the flag-bearers of the Ram janmabhoomi movement for the last 25 years.
Mohan Bhagwat was addressing "Dharma Sansad", a congregation of 2,000 Hindu saints, mutt heads and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders from across the country at Udupi in Karnataka.
