New Delhi:
Aam Aadmi Party's former Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi on Wednesday announced his resignation from primary membership of the party. After resigning from the party, Ghuggi said that he does not have any problem with Bhagwant Mann or any other person in the party.
Ghuggi said that he is not agitated with the decision to make Bhagwant Mann AAP’s Punjab chief as he has worked a lot with him in the past. Recently, AAP removed Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi from the post of party chief in the state and appointed Bhagwant Mann in place of him.
While resigning from the primary membership of the party, Ghuggi said that he was disappointed to resign from the party. He stressed that he is ready to work for Punjab but continuing with AAP is not possible.
Ghuggi expressed his disappointment over making him convener as he wanted to work as star campaigner for the party. Ghuggi said that he conveyed his desire to become star campaigner to many party leaders but could not refuse to Arvind Kejriwal.
