New Delhi:
In a case of honour killing, a man from Sambhal district’s Gunnaur town in Uttar Pradesh killed his daughter and her lover, police said on Monday.
The father, Achhan Qureishi didn’t find his 16-year-old daughter at home when woke up on Sunday night. He then searched her and found in an inappropriate position with her lover Salman near their house.
After seeing his daughter with Salman, he couldn’t control his anger and strangulated her. He also stabbed the lover, Superintendent of Police Ravishankar Chhavi said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being probed by the police. The accused has been taken into custody.
