If Junaid was a 'Muslim', weren’t Amaranth terror victims 'Hindus', asks Chetan Bhagat

He wrote on Twitter that when Junaid was killed, media says he was killed for being Muslim. “So why not say those killed in Amarnath terror attack were killed for being Hindu?” he said.

Indian writer and novelist Chetan Bhagat sparked a fresh controversy on Tuesday accusing media of being inconsistent in relating terror victims’ identities to their religion.

He wrote on Twitter that when Junaid was killed, media says he was killed for being Muslim. “So why not say those killed in Amarnath terror attack were killed for being Hindu?” he said.

“When Junaid dies,media says he was killed for being Muslim.So why not say those killed in #AmarnathTerrorAttack were killed for being Hindu?(sic),” he wrote on Twitter.

Even, he warned that not to label him by using his tweet. He said if anyone does, he or she won’t be able to argue him back logically.
