New Delhi :

Senior Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar Water Resources minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh has asked Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad to refrain from crossing the "Lakshman Rekha" in public rallies on Monday.

Singh said, “For a leader of Prasad’s stature it is inappropriate to speak the kind of language he had used at Sunday's Bhagalpur rally.”

“The RJD supremo not only used undignified language but also indulged in personal character assassination,” added Singh.

The Bihar Water Resources minister suggested the RJD supremo to control his language while speaking in public.

“Prasad may face disappointment, if he crosses the Lakshman Rekha while speaking in public,” added the JD (U) leader.

Singh termed RJD supremo’s language used during Bhagalpur rally as manifestation of sheer frustration and desperation.

“JD(U) can reply in the same manner, but it is not in our sanskar,” he added.

He added that Prasad need not hold rallies across the state on Srijan scam at Bhagalpur for carrying out a CBI probe.

“Prasad just need to file a petition in the Supreme Court or the High Court for carrying out a CBI probe,” added the leader.
