A civilian was shot dead by militants in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday night, police said.

New Delhi :  

A civilian was shot dead by militants in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday night, police said.

Aijaz Ahmad Malik, 27 was critically injured when shot by militants outside his residence in Pulwama’s Arrubugh at around 10:30 pm, a police official said.

Malik succumbed to injuries after he was rushed to a local hospital, the official further added. It was not immediately known why the militants targeted the civilian, he said.
