Bhopal:
A youth in his mid-twenties allegedly raped his 4-year-old neighbour and killed her in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district on Saturday.
The victim’s mutilated body with smashed head was recovered from forested area near her house Manwar village.
Dhar superintendent of police (SP) Virendra Singh said that the accused lured the victim to a deserted place where he allegedly raped her.
He added that the accused smashed the victim’s head with a stone with the motive to destroy evidence.
“During our initial investigation we learnt the accused, Kunal, was last seen with the girl. On questioning him he confessed the crime,” added the SP.

The SP further said that the body of the victim has been sent for postmortem.
