In another attempt, terrorists fired at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in a village in Awantipora district of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

The security forces at the camp, located in the Panz Gam village of Awantipora, had retaliated in the attempted firing. The area had been put under cordon with many military people stationed at several spots, in case of additional firing.
