West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday re-elected as chairperson of All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC) for six years. Mamata Banerjee alleged that BJP is defaming Hinduism and riots cannot be religion. She said she is proud of all religions and her religion too.

The Chief Minister said Hinduism means tolerance but the saffron party is dividing people based on religious identities. She said, "We respect all religions but humanism is our biggest identity."

Mamata urged all regional parties to come together for the sake of the nation while terming it as the need of the hour.
