Nearly 50 government ambulances were gutted after a massive fire broke out at the GVK-EMRI parking lot in Hyderabad on Monday afternoon. There were no reports of any injuries in the incident.
“At 1 pm today, we received an information about a fire at the GVK EMRI parking lot. Around 50 government ambulance vehicles, which were not in use, were gutted in the fire. No casualties were reported in the incident. We have launched a probe into the matter,” said Subhash Reddy, Station Fire Officer (SFO) of Jeedimetla fire station in Hyderabad.
