Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung greeted people on the eve of Dussehra on Monday wishing them peace, prosperity and happiness on the occasion of the festival.
"May the festival usher in peace, happiness and prosperity for all. May it strengthen our bonds ever more. I wish everyone a happy Dussehra," Jung said in his message.
The festival of Dussehra depicts the victory of good over evil. It is the celebration of Shakti and Bhakti andsymbolises our inner struggle to rise to higher levels ofconsciousness.
Extending his "heartiest" greetings to the people in Delhi on the occasion of Dussehra, Jung said the festival guides usin the path of righteousness.
